The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed concerning the large quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support place produced for intervention encounters a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who check status sassa out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
